Traditionally Pad Thai is made with a variety of proteins, such as chicken, shrimp, and egg and is dripping in a sweet and spicy sauce, covered in crushed peanuts.

SAUCE:
3 T mellow red miso paste
1 T soy sauce
5 T brown rice syrup (in place of brown sugar)
2 T rice vinegar or tamarind paste
1 T hot sauce
STOVE TOP:

2 cloves fresh garlic
1 box mushrooms of your choice
1 box wide pad Thai style rice noodles
1 cup toasted peanuts crushed
FRESH:
1 bell pepper
3 mini cucumbers or 1 package of bean sprouts
4 scallions
1 bunch cilantro
2 limes
4 basil leaves
1 T natto to garnish
